We are a family owned and operated Christmas tree farm. Approximately 80 of our 600+ acres are dedicated to the production of high-quality Noble, Nordman and Douglas fir Christmas trees. We cater to Christmas tree lot owners primarily in the warmer drier western United States. We sell to wholesale customers only and do not sell to the public.

The size of our farm, and our personal effort and attention, gives us the ability to provide a great deal of consideration to each tree. We provide #1 and premium quality trees that are as close to perfect in every detail as possible. Still, as nature provides, #2 quality trees do turn up in the field with imperfect color, shape or a hole here or there, but the secret to our magic is in the tagging. We call a spade a spade. Mark has been growing Christmas trees for over 30 years and he is solely responsible for the tagging. He is very conscientious about the quality and size of the trees. He tags the trees, not to the top of the leader, but to the fold. The fold is that place where the tips of the top whorl of branches meet the leader when folded together.

We grow our trees with great concern for the environment. Over 10 years ago we began spacing our trees on 5’ x 7’ spacing rather than the traditional 5’ x 5’. This allows us to plant grass between the tree rows and mow throughout the season rather than spray. By doing this we sacrifice 500 trees per acre in production, but avoid the heavy overuse of chemicals that our neighbors apply to kill weeds between rows of trees. We are not chemical free. We spray a very thin strip directly under the tree to keep weeds from choking out growth of the lower branches of our trees. The additional spacing also helps to keep bug problems at a minimum. Disease spreads easily in tightly grown stands necessitating pesticide use.

We encourage you to visit our farm and come and see the trees that you will be purchasing. The best time for this is anytime after the trees have put on their new growth for the year, usually around the middle of July, and have been sheared and top work done, hopefully by the end of August. Mark usually isn’t far behind with the tagging. If you come after tagging you can see the exact trees that will be on your truck, however, we encourage you to place your orders as early as possible since we almost always sell out.
